Usually ttccpp--eennvv is run from iinneettdd. It might instead be run from another server that already sets up the right environment variables; if PPRROOTTOO is set to TTCCPP when ttccpp--eennvv is invoked, ttccpp--eennvv assumes that all the other variables are set up properly, and it does not check whether the input is a TCP connection. OOPPTTIIOONNSS --rr (Default.) Attempt to obtain TTCCPPRREEMMOOTTEEIINNFFOO from the remote host. --RR Do not attempt to obtain TTCCPPRREEMMOOTTEEIINNFFOO from the remote host. --tt_t_i_m_e_o_u_t Give up on the TTCCPPRREEMMOOTTEEIINNFFOO connection attempt after _t_i_m_e_o_u_t seconds.
