It is usually invoked for debugging purposes in a _._q_m_a_i_l file to determine the value of relevant environment variables. If _d_i_r is specified, eezzmmllmm--cchheecckk attempts to evaluate the _e_z_m_l_m mailing list set up in _d_i_r and return information about the setup as well as possible errors. eezzmmllmm--cchheecckk will flag errors with ‘‘‘‘?????? EERRRROORR’’’’, likely errors with ‘‘‘‘??????’’’’, and potential errors/problems with ‘‘‘‘!!!!!!’’’’. If eezzmmllmm--cchheecckk is invoked from the shell, it will print to stdout. In this case, diagnostics are more limited, since important environment variables normally supplied by qmail are not available. OOPPTTIIOONNSS --ss (Default.)
